I don’t have a Paypal account.

No problem – you absolutely do not have to have a Paypal account to purchase any of our products.  Paypal is our payment processing company – we use them so that you can securely submit your credit/debit card information and we never see it.

To complete your order without signing in to Paypal, simply click on “Don’t have a Paypal account?” or “Click here to pay with a debit/credit card” right below where it asks you to login to Paypal.  You can then proceed with entering your payment information without signing in to Paypal. Here is a screenshot of where you need to click:

After you have entered your payment information, Paypal may ask you if you want to set up an account.  You can decline this offer by clicking on the button on the bottom right, then complete your purchase.

How will the product be delivered to me?

You’ll be receiving an email, sent to the address you used to complete the Paypal checkout process, with complete download instructions. The email will contain link(s) to download the product(s). The email is sent immediately after your Paypal payment has been processed. If you haven’t received the link within about an hour, please contact us and we will manually send it.

Please check your junk or spam folder before contacting us about a missing download email.

I never received an email with the download link.

If you did not receive the email, please check your junk mail or spam folder. If you cannot find the email in your junk mail or spam folder, contact us with your name and the email address you used to place the order and we’ll help you out.

Please note that the download email will be sent to the email address you used to make the Paypal payment

I don’t have access to the email address I paid with through Paypal.

If you paid using a Paypal account that is linked to an email address that is no longer access, you will need to contact us to manually send the download links to you. When contacting us, please indicate the email address that you used through Paypal and the address you would like the links sent to so that we can verify your payment and send the links to the address you now use.

I paid with an eCheck through Paypal but didn’t receive my download link.

Please note that we have to wait for the check to clear before we can send you the product. This takes about 5 business days and it must clear on our end as well as yours. As soon as the funds from your eCheck have landed in our account, we will send you the download email.

I accidentally ordered twice or bought more than one copy.

If you ordered more copies than you intended, please do not file a dispute with Paypal, as it will take much longer to resolve! Instead, contact us with your name and the email address you used to place the order and we’ll issue a refund within 1-2 business days.

I clicked on the link and it didn’t do anything, or takes me to a blank page.

The links in your download email will open your web browser and, depending on your browser’s settings, will immediately start downloading the product wherever you have it set to save your internet downloads.

If you aren’t sure where that is, it’s often easiest to simply try another web browser, as it may be set to ask you where you’d like to save the files instead of downloading them automatically.

When I click the links all I get is page that says “Copyright 2002-2013 Google Inc”.

This is a pretty common problem with Gmail accounts. It is likely downloading it in the background – check wherever your computer saves downloaded files and you’ll likely find it there. If not, try a different browser and it should prompt you to save it in a specific place.

The link in the email says it’s not valid.

To prevent illegal sharing, the download link is only active for 5 days or after ten download attempts. Please download and save the file to your computer as soon as you order so that you can listen to it at a later date.

If you did not save the file in the allotted time or attempted more than ten times, contact us with your name and the email address you used to place the order and will be happy to send you another link.

Norton Anti-Virus (or another antivirus program) swallowed the file and I can’t open it!

This is a common problem, especially with Norton Anti-Virus users. If this happens, please contact us and we will send an alternate file.

Or, you may follow these instructions from Norton Anti-Virus to remove a file from quarantine.

The files we send are not a virus, but since we are a small publisher, some anti-virus companies automatically block it regardless of the content.

I downloaded the file, but when I opened it, it was empty; didn’t contain all of the pages; or it wouldn’t open at all.

This typically happens when the file hasn’t downloaded all the way. Grocery University is a 137 MB file and may take 30+ minutes to download. From Garbage to Gourmet is 16.7 MB and will take several minutes to fully download.

To see if it’s downloaded all the way, you can right-click on the file and choose Properties to see the file size. If it is smaller than what is listed about, please try re-downloading it and be sure not to open it before it is finished downloading.

How do I get the MP3 files on my MP3 player?

If you are using iTunes, open iTunes then click File, then Add To Library. You’ll need to locate the files on your computer, and then select all the MP3s and click Import. From there, you’ll need to sync your iPod with iTunes as normal.

If you have questions about your specific player, please consult the documentation for your player as we are unable to give instructions for every player.
